water resource in it (until 1980 s it had been a holiday destination for students, they swam and fishing), but it seemed
dissapear.
-Aek Godang is in the middle of Padangsidimpuan-Gunung Tua route. Padangsidimpuan is the Province Capital and
lack of land for residential zone. Gunung Tua City became Padangsidimpuan s satelite especially for housing.

Desember 2003 Merpati Airlines opened the route from Medan (North Sumatra Capital) to Aek Godang. Two years ago, in the
grand opening of Sibolga (Center Tapanuli Capital) airport, the government of 3 Provinces agreed to developed air
transportation between their airports: Silangit Siborong-borong (North Tapanuli), AekGodang (South Tapanuli), and FL Tobing
(Center Tapanuli).
Now flight to Aek Godang is 5 times a week.
